Shipment Labelling

All the information you need at your fingertips. In case you need to know more about shipping, custom clearance, limitations and so much more.

Label printing and placement

Taking the time to ensure clear and visible labelling is vital to ensure your shipment gets to it's destination on time and is handled in the correct manner. Correct and accurate labelling means more preparation time, but also means less time in transit.

Here are some steps to help guide you

1. Remove any old labels

Avoid the risk of confusion. Remove any old labels before sticking on the new ones.

2. Apply new labels

Print the labels on self-adhesive paper, or use a document pouch for normal paper. We can supply document pouches upon collection if necessary.

3. Make a backup and place inside

Just in case, always put a backup label, or even just the delivery address, inside the container. This will ensure any unforeseen circumstances that might remove the outer label.

4. Attach the label firmly

Place labels or document pouches on the top of the container, ensuring as much of the label is flat and visible, especially any barcodes. Make sure no labels overlap or obscure another. Use additional fixatives such as tape, or staples if needed.

5. Keep the label visible

Please don't go overboard and wrap over the labels with any fixatives. This may obscure bar code scanners and will result in unnecessary delays.
